UM ESTUDO PRAGMÁTICO SOBRE O TERMO NÃO EM PORTUGUÊS DO BRASIL

Resumo

Este trabalho desenvolve uma análise do comportamento semântico-pragmático do termo não e de expressões contendo este terno, objetivando descrever alguns usos e valores semânticos que, não sendo baseados na negação, adquirem papéis importantes no processo de comunicação entre os interlocutores, principalmente quando as interações sociais envolvem falantes não-nativos do português e exigem uma competência comunicativa intercultural.

Abstract: This work analyzes the semantic-pragmatic behavior of the term não and of expressions containing it in Brazilian Portuguese, seeking to describe the semantic uses and values of the term that, although not based on negation, play important roles in the process of oral communication, mainly when the social interactions involve non-native speakers of Portuguese and demand an intercultural communicative competence.
